Delicious Duck Recipe: From Frozen to Feast!
Plus, You're invited to a VIP After Party at My House!
Hey!
I am so glad you are here! This is the first recipe email as a part of my Loved Already Newsletter! I have been so excited to start this journey and to share a recipe for you to enjoy.
How I cook my duck (from frozen because I didn’t think ahead enough to unthaw it):
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Remove the duck from its packaging and transfer it to a baking dish. Cover it with foil and place it in the oven for 2 hours.
After that time, rub the duck with a light layer of fat from the bottom of the baking dish.
Discard the excess fat from the bottom of the baking dish, then season the duck with a mixture of spices including garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt.
Recover the baking dish with aluminum foil again.
Bake for an additional 1 hour at 400 degrees F.
After that time, remove the foil and continue roasting the duck at 425 degrees F for about 45 minutes or until you achieve a golden crisp on top and it’s fully cooked inside. The internal temperature of the duck breast should reach about 140°F.
Remove from the oven and allow it to rest, covered, for 15 minutes. Then, serve it whole or cut into pieces.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and can share it with your loved ones!
